The team

I said it is a new team but actually it’s a very experienced team that have navigated the ups and downs of live together for more then 32 years. So despite the lack of rallying experience I think we will find this route together as well. We may stray sometimes from the route book but that is because we want to enjoy what we see and encounter.

Grace mother of 3 boys; Joe-Jay, Charlie and Mickey, owner of and partime staff with KLM airlines.

Mick International sport sponsorship consultant since 1986, co promoter of the Formula Renault 2.0 Northern European Cup and promoter and organiser of the Renault Clio Cup Benelux.

Mick started competing in classic car rallies, with his school friend of 45 years Anty Verloop, with the Winter Trial 2008 , closely followed by the Himalaya Trial 2008 a six week long adventure from Maastricht (NL) to Bhutan. In this event they finished second overall. In 2010 Mick and Anty competed the Carrera Copacabana rally another 6-week trial from Buenos Aires to Rio, via Chilli; Bolivia and Peru. In 2013 they competed the epic Peking to Paris rally crossing the Mongolia desert and Siberia to eventually finish at the Place Vendome in Paris.
Grace and Mick competed together in a few local classic charity rallies.

However Grace has been studying books on rally navigation; joined a ladies rally club and is a very good long distance driver. She regularly tackles the 920 km journey between Laren (NL) and Pany (CH).
